Peter Berner is currently writing and hosting You Have Been Watching for the Comedy Channel.
He hosted The Einstein Factor on ABC for 6 seasons with the final show airing in 2009.
Prior to which he was writer and host of the twice Logie nominated BackBerner, again for the ABC, which ran from 1999 t0 2002.
For five years he co hosted the MMM breakfast show The Cage from 2003 to 2005 and later his afternoon show The Peter Berner Experiment in 2008 and 2009.

Peter is also one Australia's most in demand and respected corporate entertainers. He has either MC'd events or provided stand up comedy entertainemnt for a long and impressive list of clients including: National Australia Bank, Westpac, Macquarie Bank, Metcash, Cisco Systems, Toyota, The Prime Minster's Dinner, Ernst and Young, HIA, AWARD, Australian Publishers Association, Great Wall Motors, Coca Cola.
HE has also hosted the AFI Awards, been a presenter at bothe The Logies and The People's Choice Awards.
Peter continues to work on the stand up comedy circuit both in Australia and overseas.
He has worked in New Zealand, Singapore, UK and the USA
He has developed a reputation as one of the sharpest, fearless, funny and original stand up comics working.
Peter has also staged regular shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival including Lonely Guys and the Big Questions ( both with James O’Loghlin), Rant and in 1999 Peter wrote and performed the nominated show “Disturbed”. Taking a break from live work because of TV and radio commitments Peter returned to the festival in 2006 with BernerLand.
Most recently performing at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in a new show titled Chicken Shop Loyalty.
He has had his material edited out of 2 Melbourne Comedy Festival TV Galas which led to the focus of a MediaWatch segment of which he is justifiably proud.
His TV appearances regularly have seen him on shows such as: 20 to 1 (NINE), Mornings with Kerri Anne (NINE), Paul Murray Live (SKY News), Good News Week (ABC and Channel TEN), Mouthing Off and Headliners (Comedy Channel), Live from Jongleurs (Comedy Channel), Midday Show (NINE).
Peter also created, wrote and presented a documentary on the Archibald Prize, Peter Berner’s Loaded Brush in 2005 (ABC TV).
AS a visual artist he has had cartoons published both here and in the UK in publications including The Bulletin. Over the years Peter’s illustrations have been also been used in advertisements and is currently the cartoonist for City Hub newspaper.
Peter has also mounted two solo shows at Gallery@28 in Sydney of his paintings and drawings.
